I'm my first class of English level 4 Teacher spoke of some north-american study about happiness. The study was indeed a poll and presented its results on percentages. One of the results where that most young people is happy spending time with their families. The firs thing I thought was “well, obviously! If you live with your family you get free laundry, food, a bed…” (Out of being living alone the past two years) then I realized that the correct meaning was to spend time with families, something like those TV commercial dinner families, where everybody is white and smiley.
When we finished, Teacher was very eager to make some serious talk about that, here on the blog. Well then, I don’t know how the family can be the main source of happiness other if it’s your own (your wife/husband and kids). Not that I don’t like parents, but they are after all…parents. They prohibit you from lots of things, they put annoying curfews on you, and they make very serious talks about things you don’t want to hear. And in a country like USA I don’t know how that can be possible. My hypothesis is that every single polled person lied in order to look good.
The racial difference is another lie, white people being happy is just wrong. It’s historical injustice. USA have killed more people cowardly meddling on smaller country’s civil wars than any other nation (have any other nation the custom of doing so?). USA don't deserve hapinnes, they don't deserve Obama, they deserve Bushes all over the White House to make'em look stupid to the rest of the world. England screwed on Africa a lot of time also. Not to mention Germany. Well, the may be happier, but they shouldn’t.
I got three paragraphs already and I don’t want to make it any longer, so, here I end.
See you on the next post.

Me
Hi, my name is Felipe (pronounced as if Spanish), I’m taking this English level 4 class because the curriculum force me to. I mean, I scored really high on the evaluation test, but, nobody could past beyond level 4, not because of the test but because of the rules. Yes, even if your mother language was English, you still have to take the level 4 class. I study Psychology, second year, and it's really compelling, although just the conductist part of it, you know... that psychology where evil psychologist scientists torture and murder little innocent mice and make papers out of it (or so humanist girls say). In my case I’m still aiming for it, but I’ll get to it eventually.
I like music, lots of music. I’m always listening some. I also play the guitar, not particularly well, but at a very high level, I must say. Often I like to play really loud, but that annoys whoever is in the house I’m playing in, and annoys them really fast, and if that person has got some degree of authority over me, well, I keep it down. Don’t really like that, as I say, I like it loud.
For the last paragraph I’ll talk about my hometown and how much I love to be there (that’s because I get to don’t be on Santiago). And that is Iquique: a relatively small city at the beachside, more wide than large, making it very easy to get to the beach whenever you fell like it, and if you’re a born-and-rise you feel like it a lot.
That’s about it, see you on the next post.
